Secretary’s Report- Minutes were read by Evelyn Jester. Minutes are available on website.
Treasurer’s Report- Presented by Jack Speakman in detail with a showing of last month and year to date. Jack also encouraged members to purchase advance tickets for states.
New Business-
• Basket Tosses for Rec Divisions- 14 and under teams are not permitted to do basket tosses. 15 and over squads are permitted to do basket tosses. Ashley presented the AACCA rule for clarification.
• Scoring questions and concerns-
o Question asked about changing age divisions- age divisions can be changed based on ages of cheerleaders.
o Rubrics will be used at States for judging both high school and allstar.
• 2012 States Review
o Review of map and layout- Ashley reviewed the map for states. Jeff spoke on fan areas and how parents will be ushered through to see their teams.
o Parking- Large parking area, should not be a problem
o Deadlines-
• Program Ads- March 1, 2012
• Advance Tickets- February 27, 2012
o Volunteers- Lisa and Danielle are in charge. Please contact them if you are interested.
o Board Appointment – Interested parties should submit bio.
• Next Membership Meeting – June 3, 2012 Location TBD
